Blue Force Gear is proud to announce the latest item in our DAP line-up. The DAP Discreet Case - 28 takes a fresh look at carbine carrying solutions. It is a 28" case with a padded, removable divider that will allow it to carry either an assembled 11.5” SBR (depending on muzzle/stock options) or up to a 18" carbine broken down into two pieces. The interior is lined with loop Velcro for use with our line of Velcro backed discreet pouches. What’s even more exciting is that the case will be offered standard (Standard; as in “no special order needed we keep them in stock” standard) in the following colors: Emerald Green, Royal Blue, Burgundy, Khaki, Black, Coyote Brown, ACU, Multicam, Ranger Green. The first 4colors are a textured pack cloth with all black webbing and hardware to be a little more discreet. The 5 military colors are made with 500d mil-spec Cordura. The case includes a removable carry strap. As with all our standard items it is sewn right here in Georgia out of US made, mil-spec components. MSRP is $129.95 on all colors and they should start shipping to our dealers in all colors early next week.
Closed up.
With 16" BCM Middy split into upper and lower components separated by removable divider.
With 10.5" LWRC Carbine using the divider to separate the carbine from the accessory pouches.
Yes, but it would depend on optics, grip options, etc. We’re still working on some of the accessories for the case including the velcro keepers. They should be ready in another week or two.
Here is a broken down 14.5" carbine held in place with our DAP Keepers. The padded divider allows other items like magazines to be carried opposite the carbine. To see all the available accessories for our DAP line visit www.dappack.com
I recently picked one of these up, and the dealer indicated that this size is being discontinued; if true, it might be worth reconsidering this decision. I’m not sure word ever really got out to the masses on these, but this case is absolutely ideal for 16" carbines – not just SBRs – because they can be easily accommodated in a broken-down configuration, as discussed above. The compact size definitely affords a lower-profile than the standard weapon case, and is just plain easier to carry, handle and stow. I would like to think that the DAP-28 would at least continue to be available as a made-to-order case, if nothing else, because it is a unique and highly-useful niche item in an otherwise crowded market. Well worth the price of admission.
I picked up the burgundy one during the sale as well. My 11.5" 6933 will fit perfectly with Surefire Scout attached and a 20rd mag inserted. What struck me is how light the case is. So far, I’m digging it!
even though i ended up with a competitor bag (i didn’t know about these) and great compliment product would be a velcro backed "Ten Speed"® mag holders!
