Just curious is anyone else having issues contacting Daniel Defense for warranty returns???
A friend of mine purchased a new DDM4 V1, the rifle has some barrel issues.
He was able to speak with a person one time. That person said “Jeff” would contact him and tell him how to ship the top half of the rifle after he received the RMA…That was two weeks ago.
He has tried multiple time to contact DD with no success, they are not even answering the phone. All you get is a recording that states “we will be answering the phone tommorow”. Reminds me of a sign I saw at a Pub that said “Free Beer tommorrow”.
I have two DD rifles myself and they have been great, lucky for me.
I guess if I had a point to this rant: it would be, Is this going to be the new norm as firearms producers focus more on building guns to keep up with panic buying? and less on taking care of their past customers who my have problems with their guns…
Lastly does anyone have info on other ways to contact them?
DD is extremely busy right now. They are filling 100 rifle orders in about 25 minutes at midnight every night. I have heard people calling and waiting for hours before someone answers the phone. I wouldn’t hold it against them with how they are operating at this current time. Give it a little bit and see what happens. If nothing else they will most likely take care of him no questions asked when they get to it. I can only imagine that their phone doesn’t stop ringing. They are one of the only manufactures that are still letting your order a rifle so imagine how many people are doing that.
Daniel Defense posted on their Facebook that they were very, very busy and apologized for not being able to answer calls.
My suggestions is continue to try. I do have a direct email and phone number to one of their customer warranty people from when I sent my SBR back for a gas leak. You can pm me if you want the email but I don’t think I would be comfortable handing out his number.
You’re obviously out of touch with reality, goofball. I mean… are you retarded?? Most dealers are day/weeks behind. This stupid question is bordering on obsurd.
Brainless “serious” questions are better received at ar15.com. I be even those idiots would get a chuckle out of this stupid question.
Markm is right. Just keep trying. You need to bare in mind these are small companies and they are weeks (if not months) behind. They will take care of you it’s just going to be a tad longer and you should be able to understand that but I also understand your frustration.
Another thing, I had a good experience with them but it wasn’t fast. It took 6 days just for them to send me a label for shipping and then close to a month and a half to get my upper back. In fairness, it was the middle of October when I first contacted them, so I can imagine with election and then the holidays there was a slowdown. I wasn’t in a rush, so I didn’t mind but your friend should probably have reasonable expectations on the time it is going to take. Especially with all the uncertainty that is going on.
If your friend wants help have him contact DD or post the question I also happen to agree with markm and others. There is major stuff going on as well as preparations for SHOT show so he’s just going to have to wait it out.
