Crimson Trace LG-417 Availability?

Does anyone know when the LG-417 grips will be released? Their website has said “Coming soon” for a very long time now.

Any word?

I received an email from Lasermax last night with a similar unit that they are now offering as well . . . . … looks interesting.

Between the two, my choice would be Crimson Trace anyway.

Now that the LG-417s have been out for a little while has anyone used a set and if so what did you think?

I think those are dead in the water. The ones I saw at SHOT were different. They mounted the old way but with much smaller lasers diodes 3mm vs. 5mm IIRC.

Quick update:

I found a set of the new LG-417s from one of our NOVA members and my initial impression is VERY favorable! I can’t tell much of a difference in width between the old ones and the new ones but they feel great, have an on/off switch and even create a beaver tail which feels okay so far.

I will try and get them dialed in tomorrow but so far I’m impressed. While not nearly as nice as the M&P model they do seem to be a big improvement over the older models.
