Colt lpk ?

I’m new to this M-4 thing. So here is my stupid question of the day. The lpk kit that I have has on the hammer and trigger a recessed circle with a large colt style “C”> with the hammer sitting on the bottom radius at 90 deg the ''C" inside the resessed area starts at the 11 oclock postition and ends at about 3 oclock. It also has a 3 sitting at about a 45 deg in the center of the C. Sorry for the long and windy explanation, new to AR’s and dont know the propper terms yet.
Iwill say thanks to all for the great site have learned alot in the little time I have been here
Thanks
odie:confused:

Not too sure. Sounds like it could eitherbe Coltor CMT (Stag).

What lower did you buy it in?

It came in a pwa lower. the guy i got the rifle from showed me the paper work that came with the rifle and it was dated mid 80’s

Sounds like a CMT to me but then again I have been wrong before.

CMT are quality LPK’s and I have used them in several builds.

Well I only paid 4 bills for the whole rifle, so I guess colt lpk was a pretty wild dream. Thanks for the info and answering my next question before I ask it. This is a great site for info
Thanks again
Odie

If you can get some pics posted I’ll compare them to the ones I just took of some new Colt M4’s that just showed up here. I specifically got pics of the hammer and a few other items.

That would be great,I’ll get them up as soon as I can
Thanks
Mike
