Does Colt’s 9mm Carbine have a sear block? I have one I’m trying to sell, and a potential buyer wants to know. I have no idea…HELP!
Colt used to use a seperate piece that was held in place with a huge hole in the side of the lower above the selector. 2nd type is machined into the lower, and is a web of material towards the back of the lower.

I assume a sear block is supposed to block a sear from being installed?
It may seem obvious by its name, but that’s not so. A gas block doesn’t block gas.
