Looks like Colt is making the 1911 in 9mm again in the 80s Series format. I haven’t read much about these but it seems very tempting to try one. In particular, I am looking at the new XSE model. I don’t think Colt has ever offered this configuration in 9mm before. I wonder how reliable these guns will be. Does anyone have any experience with Colt 9mm 1911s? I know Springfields and Kimbers have been largely hit or miss and sometimes plagued by reliability issues.
