It appears that whoever they dug up - if in fact they spoke with this person, and if they didn’t invent them out of whole cloth - is not the creator of what Trump re-tweeted. CNN seems to have a hard time grasping the relationship between various video formats and gifs.
This is even better than the whole Pepe disaster.
