Due to the situation regarding the Chinese Spy Ballon, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy has just requested a meeting of the “Gang of Eight” which is a council of 8 Congressional Leaders who are briefed by The White House on Classified Intelligence Matters.
Looks like a great way to deliver an EMP or even a surprise kinetic type attack, maybe even a nuke. Milley is a horrible leader he is corrupt. Biden is weak and beholden to China. This should have been taken out while it was in a remote state like Alaska or western Canada or Montana. Why would this be allowed, the answer they are all Chinese pawns.
It has been a few years, but the Chinese published the Assymetric Warfare manual on how they would fight a major power, and they have pretty much followed that playbook for the last 20 years or so. It is just a matter of time, I just hope our leadership is stronger than what we have now. These assclowns are all out for themselves, to include McConnel, Pelosi, Biden, Schumer, Schiff, … keep naming them.

He takes it seriously large balloon to carry any kind of weight. I think something like an EmP will be really hard to work into that kind of restriction. Biological work even the Japanese thought about trying to send rabies over that way.

So let’s say this floats over a state with a GOP GOv with balls and they tell the State national Guard to shoot it down. Box that crap up and drop it on the Chinese consulate in SFO. That’s in their powers, right? An F15 on a zoom climb should be able to get a pass at it. Heck, just a drone should be able to do it.
So it is apparently high enough that it isn’t interfering with aircraft flights, which means it’s at 55-65k feet. Fighters would likely be ineffective unless a laser guided missile can operate that high, because fighters aren’t going there. We have the capabilities to take it down but we have gutless leaders. I will bet that if it gets over Delaware, they will do something. Not until then.
