Ordered one yesterday with a hard chrome, indexed cam pin.
Monty has never done me wrong. Excited to see how it fits in my SR15.

Aw, dangit. I’m putting together an upper with their FBI Barrel and it has the “T” mark. This is tempting just from an engineer’s perspective.
DO IT. [emoji41]

Is there a thread, or website/pictures to show this tapered design versus original and the why’s. Just curious and want to understand.
Same. I also notice that he has gone to roll-pinned gas blocks without set screws.
I am waiting for a few to get out in the wild…
I have one of the new V2 bolts which is similar except for that it fits in a mil spec barrel extension. It’s hard chrome and seems very well made. Dual ejectors and everything seems very well machined. I have it in a Centurion carrier on a Centurion 11.5 FBI.
That 11.5" FBI barreled blaster just may become my truck “pistol”.
I have a few of the bolts and currently have one installed. Its hard to make comment when my other Centurions run so well, but I understand the idea and like it.
