Hello everyone I’m new to the forums and have a question about CCW eligibility. I recently purchased a sig 229 and a knights sr-15 from scottsdale gun club here in Arizona and obviously passed both background checks. If I was able to pass the background checks does that mean my record is clean enough to also obtain a CCW or are there certain differences between being legally allowed to own and legally allowed to conceal carry?
Sounds like you may have a skeleton in the closet! Why do you want a CCW? I don’t know why anyone wants one. Why be a big blip on the radar? Flame away! GH
I’ve heard of people getting denied a CCW permit even though they recently were able to purchase a firearm. I believe, however, most denials were do to address or application errors. I don’t think it’s always an automatic guarantee.
