New to pistol caliber ARs and just got my first AR-9 lower. I bought a complete one and looking it over I noticed the castle nut is not staked. I would assume it’s just as important to stake the castle nut on an AR-9 as it would be on any other AR. Is that correct thinking? I’m going to go ahead and stake it anyway.
