Story time: I invested in Moderna well before covid because of their focus on mRNA technology applied to cancer therapy. It was very obvious to me that mRNA technology had huge potential to help treat diseases that have poor treatment options, poor diagnosis, and treatments with terrible side effects. Finally, we are starting to see the clinical trial outcomes of that tech applied to a very lethal form of cancer. No doubt, more to come. Treatment of the future for that cancer and others? I watched numerous family and friends die from cancer. For me money is no object compared to the suffering Iāve watched. At some point recently I realized my own skepticism could be my downfall, so just stopped being a skeptic of everything around me. Been a great year for me and the fam letting that baggage I was carrying around go.
Recently got both shingles shots and a flu shot rand my wife is getting her second shingles shot next week. On the flip side the skeptical neighbor has had 4 shingles flareups in the last half decade and refuses to get the shot complaining about the horror of each episode. While I no longer understand it, itās his right to put his family through it for the rest of his life.
