I received three extra stocks in a deal I made for an M1A a few years back. Since I need some holiday green, I would like to sell these factory stocks but I have no idea what they are worth.
Can anybody give me a little guidance? I am not a huge M1A guy, but did have to own one!

One is a plain black synthetic. Next is I think the urban camo. And the last is a real tree camo.

You should be able to get in the $60 - $80 range for them for a quick sale. They look to be the original GI stocks that Springfield Inc had painted and used for years. Springfield Inc has since run out their supply of GI stocks and are now using a commercial stock which many feel is inferior. Given that you have the matching hand guards and rear sling swivels as well, you might be able to get up to $100 for each set.
The winter/urban camo looks like it has the hinged butt plate on it. You should easily be able to get $40+ for it by itself.

Go to the M14 firing line forums and check out the PX (what they call their classifieds). That will give you the best judge on what these things are worth. My figures are based on what I sold some for a couple years back.
Thanks for the heads up. I will read through their forums. I really read more than I post. But I probably won’t pay ten bucks just to see the PX info though…
