Can a standard FSB be cut down to fit under a DD Lite Rail?

Just wondering if a standard FSB can be cut down to fit under a DD Lite Rail? Any feedback or advise from those who’ve done it would be appreciated.

Yes, I have done it and it works fine.

Both of these have shaved FSB under DD Lite rails:

I did not do them they were cut and contoured by a local gunsmith.

Sure, that’s done all the time. I has a RRA ordered that way.
