Bravo Company Gas Block ??

I am buying this upper today and want to make sure the gas block is pinned, but I can’t find that info on the specs of this complete upper BCM-URG-MID-14BFH-KMR13.

If any of you guys own this upper, did the gas block come pinned, or clamp style?

The gas block will be a set screw style.
I’m assuming when you said “gas tube” you meant “gas block” because the tubes are obviously roll pinned to the GB.

I meant gas block. Do they have an option for a pinned gas block? I can’t get them on the phone.

I don’t think they pin it but I can tell you I tried to remove mine and it was on there so good I had to take it to a gunsmith who had to use a blow torch. looks like they use red loc-tite and they really torque down on the set screws.

Not that I’m aware of.

There’s no need to pin the BCM gas block when it’s located under a rail, so I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you.

A properly secured set screw GB and dimpled barrel is just as secure as a pinned GB. There’s really no need for it to be pinned these days.

Does Bravo Company Dimple their barrels, or just clamp on with set screws?

Skip the torch. Lots of info here starting on first page.

Short answer - a $4 bottle of UnCure from your local hobby shop will take care of the red loctite without taking a torch to your gun.
