BP's Apparently Are NOT Fond of LEOs...

The revolution is on, said the chant leader. Off the pigs, the group chanted back. The chant continues, Time to pick up the gun… Off the pigs. No more pigs in my community… Off the pigs. No more brothers in jail… Off the pigs. No more sisters in jail… Off the pigs. The pigs are gonna get scared… Off the pigs. The pigs are gonna get dead… Off the pigs.

Wow, front and rear sights, check. Finger off the trigger, check. Matching outfits, check.

These guys make most of the recruitment ‘protectors’ from last month look bad.

Probably because the Main Man is a Full-Bird Colonel.

40 round Pmag too, dude means business… Anyone else catch he unconverted Saiga in there? Someone forgot to tell him he’s supposed to get it converted, did have a Bulgarian waffle mag though.

Can you imagine the media outcry if someone of a different color had done the same thing with a different flag without even having guns…

I for one am happy to see Americans exercising their rights to peaceably assemble and bear arms.
Sure, they want to kill me, but they didn’t, and that shows class.

 I’m literally dying of laughter at these yahoos.

First off, they intimidate no one.
Second, the police are protecting them from others. Not the other way around.
Third, they make all these promises of revolution and force. “Oink Oink, Bang Bang”. But if one of them actually tried it. Actually tried to shoot anybody, they’d be cut in half and whomever survived couldn’t drop their stuff fast enough to call the NAACP or SPLC or the media complaining of a massacre.

Not an ounce of legit fight in any of them. But, hey, whatever boosts self esteem.
That said, other people should get to chant, sing, and carry on with openly beared arms too without DHS investigating them. Sauce for goose and sauce for gander, right?

All I can think of when watching this video is the movie PCU.

The Womynists chanting “This penis parties got to go- Hey Hey, Ho Ho”.

The Causeheads chanting: “What don’t we eat? MEAT. Why don’t we eat it. MURDER.”

Was surprised to see the 40 round Pmag!

A bunch of clowns…

My first thought was… who would voluntarily wear full black when it’s 110F outside?!

Would love to see them, The Klan and AB all on the same block and the local LEOs get a case of Blue Flu for 48 hours.

Hopefully this isn’t the start of more problems. The Black Panthers open carrying in the '60’s started the whole gun control problems for California and elsewhere when fear of the Black Panthers caused then Governer Ronald Reagan signed the Mulford Act that prohibited loaded open carry, and is the cornerstone to all that is wrong with California gun laws. Incrementally, the promise of “safety” was exchanged for rights.

Kind of a dubious site (victimization and blame game, the NRA is bad, etc.), but there is a decent bit of history (my notes in parenthesis):

UCLA law professor Adam Winkler (“Hollywood royalty” so unsurprisingly sort of a douche) explores this history in his 2011 book, Gunfight: The Battle Over the Right to Bear Arms in America. “Like many young African Americans, Newton and Seale (Black Panthers founders) were frustrated with the failed promise of the civil-rights movement,” Winkler writes. In their opinion, “the only tangible outcome of the civil-rights movement had been more violence and oppression, much of it committed by the very entity meant to protect the public: the police.” Winkler goes on to say, “Malcolm X and the Panthers described their right to use guns in self-defense in constitutional terms.” Guns became central to the Panthers’ identity, as they taught their early recruits that “the gun is the only thing that will free us – gain us our liberation.”

The Panthers responded to racial violence by patrolling black neighborhoods brandishing guns – in an effort to police the police. The fear of black people with firearms sent shockwaves across white communities, and conservative lawmakers immediately responded with gun-control legislation.

Then Gov. Ronald Reagan, now lauded as the patron saint of modern conservatism, told reporters in California that he saw “no reason why on the street today a citizen should be carrying loaded weapons.” Reagan claimed that the Mulford Act, as it became known, “would work no hardship on the honest citizen.”

If I were Obama and the gun control crowd, I would want suburban whites to be terrified of “angry black militants with guns”, since time and time again, they have proven to be the ones whose cries for “safety” will get the gun control agenda moved forward. Follow the money with these folks and you will probably not be surprised where it ends.

That’s exactly what they were saying in Ferguson when promise keepers stood watch over buildings. Basically “if a black person did that they’d be shot immediately.” Well…apparently not. Not only that, they can shout old racist “off the pigs” chants from the 60s like their parents and grandparents did and STILL not get shot.

BPs are nothing more than the Black KKK. They believe nearly everything the KKK believes with only the race variable reversed.

Anyone else see these clowns and think, ‘bring it on, let’s just get this over with’? Apparently, none of them remembers what happened in Detroit during the summer of '67 - after Gov. Romney (George, not Mitt) was able to bring in the 82nd Airborne to help out the Michigan Guard. The BP better have more than a few small arms if they’re gonna face tanks and helicopters.

All I see are targets for a couple of belt feds.

Are we sure it’s not Tapco or Promag knockoff?

Did a fast and furious delivery box fall off the truck at some point?

These days Obama would send out the Guard and 82nd Airborne to help protect the civil rights of the BPs.

No kidding. Any opposition they’d face would be spun to be the aggressor. LEO, civilian, or otherwise.

Freedom of speech. Cool deal.

Right to keep, and bear arms? Go on and get you some!

Death threats against LEOs? Self-Deligitimizing.

That being said, with as much overt ill-will towards Law Enforcement, and as much as it is supported by the media narrative, at what point does this gain traction/turn into a legitimate insurgency?

These folks have a Right to assemble. They have a Right to keep and bear arms. They have a Right for redress of grievances. Where the line is crossed is openly calling for the killing of Law Enforcement. Regardless of whether the message is rhetorical or not, it is definitely in poor taste. If their objective was to attack the Police, I believe they would have done so. To my eyes, this appears to be more show than blow, and is most likely an “awareness raising” op.

So, while TNBPP may, or may not, engage in open warfare against Law Enforcement, does anyone think that through their inspiration, aggression by unorganized groups may be fomented?

What about the possibility of deliberate instigation of an incident by Violent Criminal Actors?

A high-profile attack, or series of attacks, especially directed at LE by VCAs using “assault rifles”, and gun control will be the “solution” yet again.

Had the situation in the OP gone south, it would be the ultimate “Greedo/Han” shot first debate. The only outcome would be more people losing their minds, depending on who the media portrayed as the victim, further fanning the flames in the hearts of bigots, regardless of skin pigment.

In the world of “up is down, wrong is right,” only the utterly naive fail to see, what appears to be, a concerted effort to fracture the population along racial divides. As well, Law Enforcement is increasingly portrayed in an ever more disparaging light.

To clarify my perspective, I don’t condone any of the activities of officers like Michael Scott in the cold-blooded murder of Walter Scott; however, nor do I approve of the burning/looting/pillaging of communities for perceived sleights.

In short, with as much open hostility towards Law Enforcement, it’s as though there’s a damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-don’t situation in effect.

If the Police abandon law enforcement in certain demographic areas, they will be branded “racists” for abandoning the black community.

If they practice law enforcement in these communities, they will be branded “racists” for doing their jobs.

It’s a zero-sum game.

Hopefully, future incidents play out like this one, and don’t go any further than rhetoric, posturing, and harsh words.

Real talk:
In those late night moments of cigarettes and bizarre streetside commiseration, I was told by a black citizen who was certainly no angel.

He said, “Man, black folks (well he used another word I’m not going to use just because it’s polite not to) act like they hate the police. And they don’t like being stopped by the police or getting caught by the police. But who do they always call? The Police. And you wanna know why? Because we don’t trust each other.”

Experience has shown that while they may actually hate the police, there is still that unspoken trust. Like…like with children. You run to your parents when scared but resent punishment.

And some parents, certainly not most, are abusive or ignorant.

And there are more than a few non-black officers, far far from being great white liberals, who have wept over the bodies of black kids, adopted black families, and consider the most godless urban blight imaginable as their neighborhood too.

If these silly black panthers actually cared they’d collect food for eldetly women too proud for EBT, or they’d get together and restore shanty houses, they’d form a neighborhood watch to find out why in the hell 13 year olds are out at 0300. They’d sit down and say “We forgive your past if you forgive our present”.

But no, that would be too much work and wherewithal. Require too much humility. So…people suffer. People hold themselves back.
They have my deepest condolences, but no sympathy.

So yell, wear a fake uniform, carry a gun you’ll never use…or get over yourselves and get a real life
