Bluefore fixed sling loop...what do you guys use to secure? Loctite?

I am trying to “harden” all the points on my rifle (bored). I have a snazzy fixed loop from blueforce. I really, really like the fact that it uses a flathead screw rather than a stupid allen head. But what do you guys do to secure them? Loctite? staking? Just wait until the rifle crashes to the ground and remember to retighten?

Obviously this applies to any rail bolt on.

Blue Loctite has seen me through at least two years of train ups and a deployment (not sitting on a FOB/Firebase) on my BFG fixed sling mount. I felt it gave me enough insurance without being impossible to remove if I needed to.

As has already been said, blue Loctite. For the same reasons. Add a little strip of paint or marker as an index point to know if it is moving and rock on. If it loosens you’ll know because the line won’t lone up, and can take appropriate action from there.

And… that about sums it up folks…

I’ve used those same sling mounts for years. Love 'em!

I have two, but both of mine have www.aceltd.com engraved on 'em and have an allen screw.
