I have been trolling a ton of forums I do not usually visit over the last few weeks looking at AR/M4 posts. One I saw was a link to blemished/returned M4 rifles from a major manufacturers at a serious discount. I wanted to take a second look at the deal and I can’t find the post!!! It is driving me crazy. Can anyone help me out?

I couldn’t find anything at CMMG. The link given was a general link to their site. I thought that is where I saw it and had browsed their site for it earlier.
The offer I saw was for a complete rifle, not a lower. I am considering the blemished Noveske lowers also.

YES YES YES. Now here is my question, and now I remember this is why i discounted the option before:
If they are “nitrided” they are not chrome lined, correct?
How good is nitrided?
Nitrided is not chrome lining it has been done in Europe for a few years it has just started in the states. The sig 550 was supposed to have a nitrided barrel.
There is thread a few weeks ago about this very subject. Nitrided is supposed to wear longer than chrome lining. Does it I don’t know:confused: its new here in the states and I have not seen any test result comparing the 2 but for $599 it is probably worth trying. YMMV
They have 1/9 barrel twist, that’s the deal killer for me.
Well, I cheaped/chickened out on building one from scratch and went with this deal. Picked it up yesterday. The FFL, a buddy and myself have inspected the rifle. None of us have found the cosmetic defect. There is one spot in the engraving that looks odd to me, but I am not sure if it is the engraving or if the engraved emblem just has a small spot that juts out. Less than 1/32 of an inch I think.
How about some pics. What brand did you get?
Ended up with a double star lower on my rifle. I guess that is what you are asking.
