Would love to see all the input regarding scopes for the
LMT308MWSE both tactical, hunting, long range & Etc…
I just put a Night Force 2.5-10x32 with NP-R2 Reticle and Zero Stop Turrets. I mounted it with a LaRue LT Mount.
I have only been to the range once so far to zero the scope and so far I like it. My Range only goes out to 200 yards and my
LMT .308 MWS has a 16" CL Barrel and I’m not concerned with super long distance shooting so this set up should work fine for me.
+1 on the Nightforce.
Running one on my MK12 and haven’t had any issues.
I also feel the Leuopold 1.1X8 et al will be superb optic for this system albeit it’s costly price etc.
Us Optics are excellent glass as well.
I’m using 168 & 175 w/ excellent accuracy results.
It look like 3 responses and all 3 say the Same thing.
What barrel do you have and what is your primary use and set-up?
If I decided to get the 18"or 20" SS Barrel I would put my Leupold Mk4 4.5-14x50 on it and go to a 600 yard plus range and see what it could do.
Here’s a differnt choice. 16" CL barrel with intent to shoot to 600. It’s a USO 1.8 X 10 w/ JNG mil reticle. Set up for precision, supported shooting rather than a CQB .308

what ammo do you find gets the best groups with your 16"CL Barrel?
I tried Privi Match 168 & 175 and they kinda suck. Oddly enough German DAG 150 grain stuff groups better :confused:
Shooting has been on hold for quite a while for me for several reasons but I hope to get the MWS out this week. I bought a case of 168 gr FGMM, and I will buy a few boxes of 175s to compare. I’m guessing the 168s will be my best round for out to 600.
I noticed that as well. I was hitting 10 inch plates at 500 yards consistantly with just a1-5x Leupold Mk4 using 150 grain Remington and DAG.
