Best FH for a SPR build?.
I’ve got Vortex’s on most of my other AR’s but am wondering if there is something better, something more SPR specific, that would be a net gain over a Vortex.
Not planning on supressing it in the near future as I live in a Kommunist state, but if I ever move out it would be a priority.
Maybe just be better off switching FH’s when I get to that bridge but if I can kill two birds with one stone on the first throw, so be it.

not unless you go with an ops inc muzzle brake for the ops inc 12th can. the vortex is awesome, no need to switch it up

I’ve got a Blackout mount for an SPR/M4 from AAC. 
There is no better flashhider.
Seriously. Buy a suppressor. I’ve now got an M4-1000 and an M4-2000, with an SPR/M4 pending the paperwork. They’re some of the best firearm investments I’ve ever made. A supressor for an AR is like an optic. Sure, you can get by without one, but why?
got a vortex on my SPR. works just dandy. barrel came with the Ops Inc collar and all, but i cant have a can here, so that’s just a dreadful tease 
i have vortices (or is it vortexes?) on most of my ARs, same as you. for the money they’re hard to beat. i wouldn’t change it unless you plan on getting a can and then maybe go Vltor, Blackout, etc…
I agree. Except to add that AAC is now comming out with a break that adapts to their suppressors too. That might be another option.
-Without the suppersor the vortex is a great option.
