Best active shooter bag

I would like to have a good active shooter bag for a Katrina type situation. I am a civilian and want a bag I can fight out of that is low profile. A chest rig is nice. But, if I have my rifle in a covert case, I want a covert way to carry ammo and mags. So far, I am looking at the Larue (Hawkepack) bag

Or the Maxpedition Active shooter bag. I would buy the low profile PALs version and put a mag carrier inside the large main pouch. The smaller pouch would act as a dump pouch

Which would you think is better. Or, do you like something else?

I like the Sneaky Bag either the mini size or the compact. They are pretty “grey man” and functional. I shot an entire EAG carbine course with one instead of a tac vest.

+1, same experience here. I have a navy blue one with the upgraded shoulder strap. It looks like a Mountain Smith fanny pack, very grey man, and pairs nicely with my trunk gun broken down in a navy blue CavArms discreet bag.

I have trained with my Mini Sneaky Bag and used it in a carbine class. One trick I read that really works is to route the waist strap under your belt to keep it from shifting around in addition to using the leg strap. Very quick for reloads and the front pouch works well as a dump pouch.

I’ll put a plug in for something I’m selling off. These sneaky bags are top notch stuff and about as low a profile as your gonna get and still have some tactical utility. the combination of the two bags I’m parting with would leave you very well armed and still haveing functioan fighting gear that is very low profile.

I paid almost twice what I’m selling them for.

I like the US Peacekeeper Rapid Deployment pack.

I don’t have the kind of job that requires me to respond to active shooter situations but I’ve been using it as a stripped-down range bag for carbine matches and it has worked extremely well.

I also keep it by my night stand sometimes.

Finally, it will make a great tactical diaper bag. The magazine pouches work well with some baby bottles.

This looks pretty bad ass too I think, although maybe on the large size?? Maybe not in the same category?
