Some people love them, some loathe them. I like them and accumulated a few over the years
I bought my first one in 1989, Lethal Weapon was all the rage then. It was a second hand 92 F made in 1986. Shot it a lot, then tinkered with it, threaded barrel and B&T silencer, Tasco pro point on a B square mount. I still use it occasionally and it’s still going strong.
In 1999 I had the opportunity to acquire this 93r at a bankruptcy auction, complete with box, two mags and folding stock. Undated but the serial number is close to the 92 F above, so it might be a 1986 too. I asked Beretta but they sadly never bothered to respond.
In 2010 I bought this 92 FS made in 1993, I prefer the straight dust cover vs the slanted one
It also has an accessory, an 8” sport barrel.
A hard to find one that took me a long time to get. 92 Combat made in 2001
Another not so common one, I had an instant crush on it, 92 steel I from 2010
Finally I recently bought a M9A1, NIB from a private seller 40% below list price
My 91A1 was one of my earliest purchases, but continues be a gun I enjoy. I’ve spent more time tinkering with it and envisioning what else I should do with it more than any other I own. Those are some beautiful examples you’ve got, OP
CZ75 variants have a nice grip. I really like my P01 but sadly I don’t actually carry it. 34 oz loaded is a bit much in FL.
I suggest the Beretta 80-series (27 oz loaded) or PX4 line for Beretta’s with a nice grip and DA / SA.
I probably would have kept my Px4 if it could fire from the decock position like the 80-series and CZP01. It’s such a great feature, cutting the DA pull length in half.
My biggest gripes about the 80-series is a very weak trigger reset and small sights.
I own two Beretta 92 series handguns. A Beretta 92 Inox built in the late 90s and a M9A1 Compact. Both are Maryland built guns and display excellent workmanship. Both are great shooters, reliable and very accurate. The only modification I did to either of them is adding a D spring to lower the double action pull slightly.
I have several 92s in my collection as well as a couple 96s. Bought my first one (92FS) several years ago. Over the past couple of weeks, I have picked up three 92s.
