Beretta 1200FP opinions

Picked up a police trade in 1200FP for $250 at the local pawn. Could not pass for the price. I know they are pretty much a Benelli
M1S90. It fired and cycled good. Fast with a lot of kick for sure.

What should I look to upgrade/replace to bring it up to speed? This thing has some years on it and I want to refresh things like springs if needed. Not wanting to replace the stock. What about bolt handles? Any links to an manual?

You can use an M1S90 bolt handle.

The only real difference between it and an M1S90 is the location of the cartridge drop lever and the barrel attachment.

I have 1 too and it kicks pretty good even with light loads and bird shot. I wish could calm mine down a bit.
