Your buddy just lost all credibility. Don’t listen to him. He’s clueless.
Dittos on the purchasing of a Super 90 with a ghost ring for $650. Noodles, what are you waiting for?!

Yea, it wasn’t hk marked like mine is and I really don’t need two! If I hadn’t been so tight on cash I would have bought it for sure. I’ll swing by that pawn shop and see if it’s still there today.
Offer them $600. Half down and remainder in a month. Pawn shop probably got $300 in it.

I shot the same Benelli M1 for 10 years of heavy duty 3 gun competition. I have no idea how many thousands of rounds have gone through it. I never had to replace any part except magazine springs.
Kurt Miller shot the same Benelli M1 for almost 20 years. That gun may have over 100 thousand rounds through it. He broke 1 pin in that time.
This is not to say Benellis are perfect. They malfunction. They recoil more than other shotguns. Mine is ammo sensitive. But they are very durable and reliable as shotguns go.
Well, I went back. It’s a non-HK M1, slight marks on the barrel and receiver, ghost sights, but I think the front is slightly crooked, pistol grip which isn’t my favorite, etc.
It’s nice and I asked what he’d come down to from $650 and he said he couldn’t come down at all. If I didn’t already own one I’d probably buy this one, but I’ll chill considering.
It’s been there for a month at that price, I’ll keep checking back and see if it hangs around.
If you threw 600 on the counter, he would be hard pressed not to take it. He probably doesn’t have anywhere’s near that in it.
Got an M2. Love it!! Great decision on your part. Now go have a nice Italian dinner to go with your gun!!!
Been shooting my buddies M4 and liked it. I didn’t want to spend the money on a M4, so wne the cheap route and bought a Supernova. Getting it out jail next week.
Lookup Hatsan Escort MP-A. It won’t break the bank and its a sweet semi-auto shotty.
Hey on this topic, I got my hk m1s90 in my possession finally… It’s got the Laser Products (now Surefire) lighted forearm on it, but I have zero use for a light on this gun so I want to swap it with an original forearm…
Does anyone have an early m1 forearm (apparently there are changes to the latest m1s) that I can buy or want to trade + cash for the surefire I’m taking off???
I also have a mesa 6 round side saddle available in case anyone is interested…
^^ wants the one that converts from semi to pump like the franchi spas:cool:
m3, I think they still sell them. Cool idea, but from what I remember it has a plastic “selector” that is prone to breaking. So something like that, like the spas it doesn’t have a great reputation.
Number of people got those Benelli M3 here. They looked like good deal to have pump and self loading action in one. But it showed that like everything that do all, it does not do anything good enough. It is neither good self loader nor good pump action. Problems with them all the time.
I have an M3S90, in fact that was my first gun. I’m never selling it.
But montrala, I have to agree with you. The pump/semi feature is very cool. But the gun does not act like a traditional Benelli auto-loader. Once the bolt goes back the gun shoots a shell into the carrier, doing slug change over drills is a bit difficult.
But, like I said, I’m never getting rid of that gun.
I got myself M1S90. I have yet to find if it was good idea.
I’m used to pump actions.
BTW Most problems with M3S90 that I see are not “technical” per se. It is mostly user induced problems, but complicated nature of this shotgun seem to be a magnet for this. Probably if someone would “master” M3S90 it can be valid option.
