Has anyone found a good belt pouch for both standard AR mags and M&P15-22 mags? I need something with good retention and speed(no straps or bungees). I run standard AR mags(no Pmags), 1.5" belt . Adjustable Kydex is preferred. All of my other belt gear is CompTac I would love if someone told me the CompTac will work.

I would have concerns about the Comp-Tac and the M&P22 mags. I’ll use a couple of pictures to demonstrate why.
This is the Comp-Tac AR mag pouch. Note how little of the magazine is actually retained by the pouch.
Here’s a picture of a Pmag for reference. Note the location of the ribs, and then go back and look at the picture above. The pouch doesn’t even cover the entire portion of the magazine that inserts into the magwell.
Now look at the M&P magazine. Note the feeding tower. That feeding tower is going to keep the magazine from seating as deeply as the Pmag in the first picture, meaning that even less of the magazine is going to be seated/retained in the pouch and there is going to be even less friction between the magazine and the pouch. Also note the notch cut-out at the back of the magazine, leading to even less friction surface.
I use the Ready Tactical AR mag pouches and am quite happy with them. I have used this pouch to hold my M&P magazine and it held. I’m not sure I’d want to be running all over hill and dale with the thing, but I won’t be doing that with my M&P anyway.
Let us know what you decide on and how it works out for you. I’m sure that lots of other people are looking for the same thing.

Thanks for your input. The points you made about the CompTac gear is exactly why I have not ordered them yet. I too was also concerned about the amount of “purchase” they would have on the 22 mag. The pouches you have would seem to fit the bill pretty well. For my intended purposes I don’t need to hold the 22 mags as securely as my standard mags. I just want to build a system that would allow me to practice at home with the same gear and placement as I would use for my AR in a training class. Next time I go to a shop that carries this type of stuff I may just bring a 22 mag with me to try in various pouches.
So far I am lucky that they fit well enough in my chest rig, but I do not want to be reloading from it.

Those Raven pouches seem pretty popular, got any more info on how they are made differently than the standard ones? Got any images? I know I would have to buy 2 sets of pouches to do it that way, but that is not a problem if it becomes apparent that’s what I need to do. It is an option for me at this point.
The Brownell’s/Bladetechand the Safariland ar mag pouches work just fine.
My bladetech belt pouches are good to go.

I use Comptac mag holders for my PMAGS and 15-22 mags. Unfortunately my duty belt mag holder loosened to fit my PMAG and my wilderness belt sized mag holder is tightened down for my 15-22 mags.
They will fit both mags, but require adjustments when you go from one size to another.
Do you feel there is adequate retention for minor “run n gun” drills? I have no problem adjusting back and forth.
Retention is pretty good. I mainly practice speed reloads and tac reloads with the .22.
In the pic I’m holding it upside down. I’m sure I could go even tighter. If I shoke it, the mag will fall out.
Fast Mag Gen IIIs work with the MP-15-22 mags, though they are a little bit looser than with regular mags. Nothing a little duct tape around the 22 mags wouldn’t solve.

Unloved made me some custom belt pouches for my pmags to my specs from kydex. You can see them here:

I would think if you had some custom kydex made you could have them made like a normal mag pouch, and then at the bottom a drop down section for that .22 feeding tower. The flat top of the normal mags would just sit above it.

I forgot all about this thread! I have been using a spare TT triple mag panel strapped to my belt. Retention is good(without bungee), reloads are smooth. As a regular guy if I ever had to pick up my carbine and fight I would probably be pocket reloading so I not sure if I will stick with this system. It would be slow to put on and my normal CCW gear(mag/flashlight) would be in the way as well.
