My father has asked me to build him an AR for his 60th birthday this year and I have never built an AR before… He and I have talked about what he wants in a rifle and I’ve decided that I want to start with a BCM lower receiver group… does anyone know if the group contains an LPK or will that need to be purcahsed seperately? Thanks…
I dont think BCM sells stripped lowers, so it will include the LPK. G&R offers the lower with options, and you can save money by using a blem lower (if you search regarding this, the blems are usually not noticable).

This is right. BCM doesn’t sell stripped lowers. however, you will still save some money just by piecing together a complete lower and upper. I recently bought a complete lower from grant at G&R and it was a good buying experience. Everything I receive from him is top notch.
