I don’t know if this has been asked and I searched and did not find anything so here goes.
I currently have an SBR with a 10.5" Noveske standard upper that I run an AAC M4-2000 on. I am looking at getting a flat top BCM 11.5" upper with 10" KMR rail system and had a couple of questions regarding the upper and M4-2000…
Does anyone know if I put on an AAC blackout 51T mount on the 11.5" upper, will my suppressor touch the KMR rail? Basically will there be enough clearance after installing the 51T with the M4 attached?
Should I opt for the standard size barrel or the enhanced light weight barrel and will I have and issues with the ELW barrel if I go that route regarding the suppressor hanging on that lighter weight barrel? I am trying to go as light as possible…
I have a BCM 11.5 KMR with the enhanced light weight barrel (ELW). Attached to the end of the barrel is a AAC Brakeout 2.0, which essentially is a blackout 51T threaded flash suppressor/comp. I will attach my AAC SDN-6 on occasion. To question 1. I have no fitting issues. 2. No issues I’ve seen from 25-50 yards, POI shift was predictable and minimal between suppressed and non-suppressed.

BCM 11.5" LW (not ELW) and KMR 10" with AAC M4-2000.
There is plenty of room.
POI shift at 300 yards is about 6" to 4:00. I’d suspect that the ELW would be more. I haven’t shot this for groups less than 100 yards but I can’t tell a difference suppressed or unsuppressed as far as POI shift goes that close.
Photos taken by cell phone end up oriented sideways or upside down, it’s something about the difference in file coding between phone and computer. You can fix it by opening the photo on a laptop, rotate it 90* and then back, then save it. That fixes it.
