One of the guys on my team uses Lancer mags with great results. This week, I noticed that one of his mags had a problem with the base pad coming partially off. The mag still works fine, but I wonder if other people have had similar problems.
The mags were carried in open top mag shingles, and have seen about 6 months of daily use and abuse in Iraq. This is the only mag out of 14 that has this issue.
Besides this issue, the mags are holding up well to over here.
That one looks like the rubber didn’t adhear right. Normally they shred, not peel off.
Send me an email and we"ll send replacements. Let me know if the magazines have green or black followers.
Im not familiar with Lancer mags, so thats not the part that retains the spring, just a simple base pad ?

It is just a base pad that protects the bottom from drops and slams. If it was to come off, the rounds would be retained.
Buy one and take it for a test drive. They are pretty good mags.
