This was given to me a family member recently. It was a Norwegian 6.5x55 krag, I was told it had a new barrel and new trigger and peep sight. I still have not taken it out yet but I am really looking forward to it. I just need to figure out what I am going to do about the stock being made for right since I shoot with the devils hands. Any suggestions?

complete with foot…
I just bought one of those a couple of months ago. Fitted it with a Redfield Revolution 2-7x33. It is a superb rifle!
Changed out the stock to a B&C Medalist…

Silly quiet with 250 grainers in 38 spl cases!

Whats up with ports on the side of the barrel, I thought gas ports were on top of the barrel?
Winchester Model 70 XTR in 30-06. The single most reliable piece of gear I have ever owned. I bought it in 1980. My very first new firearm. I bedded the action with Brownell’s Acraglass gel which has held up extremely well and added the Pachmayr recoil pad very shortly after I bought it. I had the trigger adjusted by the gunsmith I got it from before I even picked it up. The trigger still brakes at a very crisp and creep free 3 lbs and rivals the Timney on my 700.

just awesome
