Good example of using paracord to attach a general purpose strap as a sling, but can be used to attach just about any kind of sling.

I’ve never seen it mentioned as a use, but it can also be used to compress a sleeping bag/blanket/jacket, just tie around the bulky object like this shows tying around the cleat.
At this point, all my carbines get paracord-buckle-paracord attachment to front of the rifle. Varies in the back, but if ever wanted to remove quickly, my left hand would actuate the buckle. Keeps the benefits of the paracord and allows for quick removal.
Indeed, my homemade 2pt. quick-adjust all have a fastex buckle up front, as the adjustment mechanism, and that allows me to pop the sling loose if I get entangled with a Krakken’s tentacles, etc.
