Armorers Manuals...

Who makes the best armorers manuals guys? I THOUGHT I had purchased a good Colt Armorers manual on Ebay recently, but to my disappointment, it was not that much of a help to me. Yes, it had a little bit of decent info, but I am looking for the best armorers manual out there.
Can anyone help???

Here is the manual I purchased on Ebay recently. It’s very thin, with crappy photocopied pics. Please forgive me if anyone has a problem with me posting this link. I hope not. Just tryin to show you guys:

Also, I have always wondered about the following book sold by BravoCompany. Anyone got an opinion on it???

I’m looking for the BEST literature available.
Hope to hear back from you guys…!

I don’t know if they do the AR’s but … yes it pains me to say… FrontSite’s glock armorer course manual, taught by a gunsmith, is far better than the offering at the glock factory course.

I have several ones:

The US Army and Air Force one
The Clint McKee and Walt Kuleck book (from Fulton Armory)
The one that Sully gave me at his Armorer’s Course

All three compliment each other. The Fulton Armory one has some good pictures and tips, and I used it to build my first lower. Sully’s is nice because it has a pretty extensive trouble shooting. The official Army one is nice because it has torque values (yes, I use a torque wrench still) and some decent line drawings.

Of course, if you can swing it, take a true armorer’s course, like Sully’s, and you’ll get some nice supervised hands on training, exposure to all kinds of tools (and why some are better than others) without having to buy them yourself, as well as good dos and and don’ts that you may not get from a book.
