Do it!

As a hetero sexual… NO! I have never gone.

Seriously… I went and witnessed one once. Not my thing but… whatever. Give it a shot.

Its at a range that is near you. you are intereted. Do it what have you got to loose? 2 hours and a hand full of ammo? I have to drive over an hour to get to matches. That range is the closesed. Next would be the Apple seeds those are 2 hours out. Do it. it will be fun. Dont take yourself too seriously and enjoy it.

Shoot safe.

Well I went, and had a great time.

I shot like poop, too much adrenaline I guess. But I really had fun and got to talk to a few old timers.

Bottom line, I’ll be heading back next month.

It sounds like part of a hipower rifle match. Personally, it sounds a bit boring…too slow. But hey that’s just me. Try it and see if it’s for you.

Oops, just saw that you shot it, and had a good time…excellent!

Awsome. you will get better.

Sounds like a DCM/CMP match. Can’t hurt to fling a couple of rounds down range once in a while with them, so long as they’re not all day about it.

Actually, it sounds like a Garand match only with AR15s. A “real” Highpower match is either 50 or 80 rounds, plus sighters.

Anyway, it’s a good way to get familiar with one’s rifle. Regular competition, regardless of the form, is better than the rifle sitting in the safe.

Was there a lot of iron sighted HBAR profile guns?
