What range are you guys zeroiing your dedicate .22 uppers.
I zero mine at 25 yards.
This page has some .22lr ballistic tables.
I zero mine at 35…but not based on those tables or any other real reason. I plan to look at them and start shooting different .22lr zeros and see what is actually happening.
According to the table the ideal zero for a 40 gr. bullet, with a B/C of .1340, and moving at 1260 fps is a 59 yd. zero. According to the author’s table, that should keep you +/- 1 inch out to 66 yds., and 5.3" low at 100. Far superior to the zero I’m using now.
ETA: The tables are probably off for .22lr AR usage, because the sight offset is greater. All the more reason to walk the ground myself.
