AR-15 Two Stage Triggers...let's talk about them...

I guess I should wait and see when the Geissele fixed 2-stage ($150) comes in…

I suppose in the meantime I could install a regular old single stage.

Where to find Giselle triggers?

Adco Firearms

We have them in stock.

Can someone please explain the difference between the 3 Geissele triggers (I think they are DMR, Service, and Match)?

Just trigger pull weights. We include all three springs with the trigger so you can customize them as much as you want.

Ahh, so what’s the difference between the current 3 and the new one that will sell for around $150?

The more expensive two stage trigger are adjustable and are also going to have a slightly smoother trigger pull.

I own several Milazzo-Kreiger version two’s, but still prefer the KAC trigger overall. The user must remove the pistol grip, selector in order to install the MK-2’s. The MK-2 is built like a tank and will last forever IMO tho.
The KAC just drops in, is easy to adjust.
My benchrest AR has a KAC trig tweaked to break at 2.5lbs, but for normal use, the 4.5lb spring weight is perfect and you won’t get any doubling at that weight. KAC trigs will only double if they are set too light or the set-screws come out of adjustment during firing. As long as the shooter loc-tites the set screws in or uses “teflon” padded screws (like I do) you won’t encounter any set screw probs.
I use KAC trigs exclusively in all my AR’s.
I have several NIW KAC trigs for sale that I planned to use for my next builds.
Have ad posted in MarketPlace.

I don’t know, the SSF I dropped in last night feels pretty damn smooth  I find it nearly equal to the DMR I have.

The Armalite version is very beefy, strong unit. It has some adjbustibility for pull weight.

Which model, the match version or the tactical version?

I have only seen the match version so far. AR’s make up 60% of my trigger work business, Hk’s about 30%, and everything else the remaining 10%.

Do we have an ETA on the new $150 Geissele triggers yet?

Installed a Jard non-adjustable 2 stage in my BM M4gery. Pull weight can be varied by swapping springs around. No issues in 1500 rounds. I like it, see no need to change.

My cost was around $104 from Brownell’s.

I have the Accuracy Speaks triggers in my 6920’s and like them very much, I’m
only 5 miles from Derricks shop, so that helps. Honestly no problems so far.
The aimpoint scoped 6920 has 3K through it. The ACOG version far more.
No problems. The price was right too.

+1 I would like to know when these are going to be available as well.

+2 I am ready to buy a trigger. Should I wait for it or go ahead and get the RRA?

To quote my post from your thread about your sweet new shooter, I’m holding out for the Geissele

Yes buy the RRA and than your one less person who I need to compete with the get the new Geissele.
