Specifically Form 1’s / 4’s. SBR or Suppressors. With all this garbage going on…what to expect or wait times.
I was thinking of SBRing another lower. Also was planning on a suppressor next month.
My first one was 87 days door to door. I watched alot of guys in the past year wait up to 7 months. I couldnt imagine what it would be now.
Anyone plan on Stamping anything soon?
I just SBR’d another lower. May or may not dedicate a short barrel to it.
Turning my form 1 in next week hopefully this ban doesn’t go down. If it does at least I won’t have to wait twice as long to register.
Sending Form 1 for an SBR in next week. We’ll see what happens…

I’m wondering if I need to switch my stuff to a Trust. I was able to get my CLEO to sign off on my SBR and Suppressor so I didn’t have to go the Trust route. However, if an AWB does go into affect part of the bill outlaws transferring of any weapons. If I were to die then my SBR and Suppressor, at least wouldn’t be transferrable. If they were in a trust any my wife and kids were also on the Trust the weapons would still be fine.
True. The transferable thing bothers me too. Feinstein, however, has already said that the attractive thing about NFA for “assault weapons” is the photograph, CLEO signoff, fingerprints and presumably more thorough background check. The trust route circumvents all of that. I wonder if they’d try to close that “loophole” while they’re busy trying to re-vamp the NFA, now or in the future.
