Anti seize for cans?

Do you use and recommend use of anti seize for cans? Any brand recommended?

Like for “take apart” cans? Rimfire?

I use a dab of copper based anti seize between muzzle device and HUB adaptor, to make separation easy. For direct thread, anti seize on muzzle threads. Think its Permatex, got it for use on lug nuts. Says on can it can take high temps. Probably overkill but it satisfies my OCD.

As a former Mechanic, I would like to shake your hand for even asking that question. People who don’t ask about anti-seize often learn such fun things as Bolt Extraction.

Saw a recommendation for using this on threads when I bought my first can and no complaints so far.

I have an “O” Ring on my thread cap and haven’t needed antiseize or lost it yet.

My O rings haven’t been lost or crapped out yet which i attribute to buying a bag full of replacements.

Kinda guessed that no spares would end up like going downrange to put up a new target. I have NEVER had a staple gun run dry as long as I stick the box of staples in my pocket, but it is all but guaranteed to go empty without the reload.

I use the moly paste (aeroshell?) for castle nut install as the tube I bought is enough to install a trillion castle nuts. I was always told to avoid copper based lubes for cans as the melting point of copper can mean trouble actually fusing the threads.

With modern taper mounts I clean and lightly lube the tapers and forget the threads as nothings getting there anyway.
