A gentleman born and raised in Iraq told me a few interesting things. First, he said that Tariq Aziz was a family friend, and he was good at being a friend. He also said that Aziz would gladly go to his own execution than to ever betray his loyalty to Saddam.
Second, he told me that he knew Uday and Quasay Hussein in junior high school and they were normal kids as Saddam had not made them crazy yet.
Third, he told me that many years ago Saddam implemented a marksmanship test for members of his cabinet. If a cabinet member could not achieve the required score, he could try again, and if he still did not make the grade then he was dismissed. I wonder if Janet Napolitano could pass a marksmanship test.

In fact, I bet they would all fail the Question and Answer part that will be based on the US Constitution. It’s 25% of their total score (as indicated here).

Interesting. Tariq Aziz was a mouthpiece for the regime, and complicit in the repression and murder of thousands. I predict no one will give a rusty fuck that he will die unrepentant and “loyal” to a dead tyrant.
That and Kim Jong-Il’s son and apparent heir too. Read lots of stories about people who knew and went to school with him at the provate school in Switzerland where he was edumacated.
