Didn’t see that one coming, Bundy is against the actions of ICE to enforce federal immigration laws, seeing it as more gubment overreach and not unlike what he experienced with land fight etc. Trump pardoned the ranchers that were involved too:
Proof that sharing some common interest does not mean universal common interests. Ammon Bundy is more or less one of those “sovereign citizen” nut jobs. Maybe I can find common ground with him on an individual idea or two, but largely I think he’s nuts.
Just as I could potentially agree with a flat earther on a few unrelated points and still think he’s retarded.

Unrestricted immigration will turn the USA into France.
The courts have never agreed with any of the sovereign citizen stuff.
They all say the Supreme court is on their side, which is crazy because if the court upheld any of what they spout, then we all would know it .
Federal court took away NFA on cans and guess what you can now go into a dealer and buy a can on a 4473, unless you live in a communist State .

Bundy is a nutcase, plain and simple
I used to know some rather wealthy people who had a heck of a scam going on. They ran a rather large Cotton Farm and had their hands in several other enterprises in town including Law and Politics.
They had somehow incorporated the Farm like it was a business, like a factory or something. They used some rather creative accounting and everyone made X, but only Y was reported so everyone got to collect welfare and foodstamps.
If you got to know some of them, they were pretty proud of themselves and felt like they were “Getting Back” at the .gov by doing this.
They weren’t Radicals, they weren’t “Getting Back” at the .gov, they were just common crimminals cheating the system.
They got caught because one of the ones at the Top left his Wife and Family for a Floozie in Tucson and stole a couple of Million on his way out the door.
You know this guy is just like that, He’s no radical, he just wants to buck the system for another handout.
