I haven’t been paying attention, but PSA had REM Thrunderbolt 40gr/HV for $0.06 a round. About as low as I’ve seen- but like I said, I haven’t been looking. A little over $200 for 3000 rounds to my house. I picked up the 22lr bug when my son was learning how to shoot and CF went crazy. Just a lot of fun- especially with those speed mag loaders.
I was surprised that ammo, especially 22lr, was at that price point, so close to an election.
I keep finding myself needing to stop and order another 5000 of CCI standard velocity.

My favorite budget/ bulk 22LR is currently Automatch and it can be had for 5-6 cpr.
I have seen sales on Norma TAC-22 for 6 CPR with free shipping. It shoots really well out of my CZ and Bergara bolt guns.
I too had the .22 bug, I bought it whenever I saw it on sale or available.
Then one day I organized my ammo and came to the realization that I have two lifetime supplies.

That’s precisely the right amount.

The Aguila copper plated round nose can be found at <$0.06 in bulk. I used them for Action Steel competition in my 22 AR. Feeds great.
For suppressed plinking I use CCI SV. It’s been 8 cents or a bit below for a year or so.
