I have been using an alg defense trigger and if I dry fire it and hold the trigger down recock and then slowly release the trigger it will go off again. It’s almost like a shotgun release trigger. I’ve confirmed that it will do this with live ammo as well. Any ideas??
I had an issue with an ALG trigger as well, a quick email to the customer service, and they had a new trigger and a return label for the old to me very quickly. They are a stand up company and will do what it takes to get you squared away.
Please contact ALG immediately and they will take care of it.

Was this with the ACT or QMS?
Eager to hear whether this was he ACT. I have the ACT with a couple-hundred rounds through it, and never had a problem, particularly with following through like you describe. But, I’d like to know if I need to watch out for this.

Well, fortunately, it hasn’t done it … yet. And if it does, in theory, it should be on target. Will have to watch.

I only have one ALG ACT trigger but so far over the last 6mo / 1K rounds, zero problems of any kind.
Does anyone know what the problem is?
I figured my problem was a really old, used Bushie lower that was likely out of whatever spec Bushmaster used in the early 1990s. I put the factory parts in & it worked.
