Ummmmm…yeah. I just read online somewhere that Aimpoint outfits theirs optics with PLASTIC lenses. Is this true? How might this affect clarity and damage to the lenses? They have plastic lens COVERS…
The lenses are decent quality multi coated optical glass that look pretty red on the front.
