Looks to be another ISIS type related attack.
Edit- Fox reporting as of 939AM multiple shootings, still on the loose, and ongoing situation.
A soldier has been wounded in the attack, Canadian media report.
The incident comes amid the nation’s raising of its terror threat level from low to medium, after a Muslim convert was killed by Quebec police after hitting two soldiers with his car.
Praying for the soldiers recovery, and a quick end for the shooter.
Initial reports were all over the place, from one guy with a double barrel shotgun, to a “long” rifle, to multiple shooters, to dozen of shot fired inside the Parliament.
Supposedly, shooter is dead. If that’s true, the “dozen of shots” heard was probably the exchange between the perp and the authority.

Addendum update: video from inside the Parliament building showed police moving in a long hallway with at least one team moving in the diamond formation, suddenly multiple shots and lots of shouting were heard. The camera shook and jump, after the cameraman calm down from the startled, it appeared to show a person on the ground and the police converging.
Reports are more than one shooter now.

I’m starting to doubt the multiple shooters. The attack at the memorial doesn’t seem like a “I hate the govt” type move.
CNN reports that NORAD is putting more jet fighters on high alert. I know its prudent, but it sounds an odd response to a dude in building with a rifle.
Lot’s of people milling around outside. Lot’s of geared up guys running around. The Rideau Center (the mall) is that actually a site- CNN is waffling on it. These guys trying to Mumbai it?
Watching the coverage on CNN, it seems there were near simultaneous shootings at three locations inside a seven block area.
CBC saying the Soldier shot at the War Memorial has died. A Tweet from a Gov minister.
Any word on how many victims?
It didn’t look good when I saw the medics frantically trying to revive him before getting him in the ambulance. Sad situation.

I could see some ROP’ers trying the same thing at Arlington’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. I’m gonna guess shit just got real for the “Old Guard”. Putting a 20rd mag in those M-14’s would be a good start (might interfere with their manual-of-arms though).
