About that blowback...

I have a little over 500 rounds through my saker 762 now. It has solely been on a factory aac 12.5 inch 300 blk. Remington 120 gr. otfb supersonics have some FOUL blowback, as do 110 gr. tac tx. The 200 rounds of subsonic have been fine. But there seems to be a substantial difference between Remington 220 gr. OTM (noticeable), and silencerco 220 gr. smk (not really noticeable). Do the gas buster charging handles actually help? The other two rifles I plan to suppress are in various stages of projects right now so I haven’t had a chance to try them (colt 556 and springfield m1a NM).

The cheap silicone rtv treatment works wonders instead of buying a new charging handle.

Have pics?

This has a good explanation with pics

An adjustable gas block would cut about 90% of that. Just sayin.

Excellent. I’ll try it right now.

SO yeah the RTV thing is totally worth it. Tames it right down. Gonna do all my charging handles now…
