Sorry if this has been covered but for some reason every time I try to use the search function its says my connection is discontecting.
Im going to build my first ar and wanting to use a nine inch rail on my build.
Im looking for options.Does any other company make light weight rails besides daniel defense? Just not a DD rail fan.
Are you looking for a quad rail, or a handguard where you add rails as needed?

Larue is pretty light also and unless you have a short gas block, you’d need at least a 10’’ rail. Nice rails, US made.
Noveske makes good uppers and some of the best barrels in the industry.
I’m a big fan of the larue products. I would take a look at the bravo mid-length with larue 9.0.
Troy. Quality is there, lock-up is there, price-point is there…So there… 
I use the Larue/BCM combo and have no complaints.
