Are they difficult to complete, relible? What are the best kits out there?
I hear they cause your house to become haunted.
Ive been researching a bit and it looks like i nedd to buy the jig seperate from the 80% lower. That will certainly stop bad guys from going the ghost gun route.
My house is already haunted
Only the AFT asks that question…

So two things come to my mind.
Probably isn’t practical for a one time thing. But given the price and scale of CNC milling machines, that is probably the way to go.
Guess i wont ask about which malitia to join
There is already a thread that answers everything you’ve asked and more concerning 80 percent lowers. Search and read.
I hate to be that guy but how do i search?
Click back to GD and then in the top bar click “Search Forum” and type in 80% lower. Would probably do the same for the Custom Build Forum.
Check out this guys YouTube channel. He details every aspect of the process.
Aren’t they all crap. With shity rails?
I’ve heard mixed reports. I think much of it may comes from the end users finishing job and parts selection. I bought one which I haven’t even begun to mess with other than slowly collecting components for it. I did it after talking to a friend that’s on our counties ERT team. He’s been very happy with the one he has. His only recommendations are to take your time in finishing and use OEM Glock parts. Don’t get me wrong, I probably wouldn’t ever consider one for my main handgun, but it seems like a fun little project that can result in a decent pistol. A pistol that’s still probably better than some factory produced ones from companies with less than stellar reputations.

:sarcastic:
(just bustin’ your chops. I thought it was funny)
Yep your house will become haunted and one day in the near future your dog will inexplicably be shot.
I thought no one is selling them anymore anyway?
