50 Beowulf pistol/sbr barrels?

I’m wanting to build a 50 Beowulf pistol/sbr but I can’t find a barrel shorter than 16"…who makes them and where can I buy one?

Has anyone taken a 16" barrel with mid gas and cut it down to 12-13 inches? I’m planning on running suppressed pretty much 24/7, so I was thinking the additional back pressure would help cycling.

Yeah, I know about the complete upper assembly by AA. But I’m wanting to build my own (save $) and just buy a barrel (which I can’t find…except carbine length).

Maybe I’ll go ahead and get the carbine w/mid gas, cut it at the gp, and set it up with pistol gas. That would put barrel length around 9-10" (18ish w/suppressor).

Well, after speaking with Randall Rausch of ar15barrels.com it sounds like cutting the carbine barrel at the mid length port and pistol porting it is the best option.
