.223 rem./5.56 ammo for m4 carbine

i need some opinions on this ammo type. what are some reliable brands that wont break the bank and do not have steel cases. a couple brands i was concerned about were TULA and Wolf

Who made your M4? Some run better with cheap Russkie ammo than others, I personally like Brown Bear 55 and 62gr ammo for plinking and training.

bushmaster

i’m a big fan of federal xm193 and winchester q3131. both are NATO pressure, new manufacture, and brass cased. usually around $.30/round, right now.

a lower pressure brass like PMC might be better for your bushy… they’re known to have tight chambers.

nice, im still up for more opinions. pmc seems to b popular. btw are you sayin it may b a bad idea to use federal ammunition in my gun or it doesnt matter? my gun is classified as .223 remmington and 5.56 nato

PMC should run great in a Bushmaster. Fed XM193 will run fine too. Any of the Walmart .223 ammo is good (federal, Winchester, etc)

Fiochi is a good brass cased ammo as well. If there’s a cabelas near you go see what’s on sale.

how about stags arms? pretty much the same ammo right? pmc and federal
