2012 Feral Hog Hunting Highlights with the Dehogaflier UAV

Here are some of the highlights from the 2012 pig hunting season. This year we had a thermal weapon sight as well as the thermal camera on the UAV. The thermal weapon sight made a huge difference in the ability to detect the hogs from long distances and was a joy to shoot with as well. The majority of the pigs taken where with a .308 equipped with an ATN ThOR 640 2.5X scope.

The UAV is a Skywalker 168cm with RangeVideo OSD and a FLIR TAU 320 camera. I use 2.4Ghz with circular polarized antenna for video.

That is really cool. What is the cost of the UAV with all of its video and thermal components?

LOTS!.. ask on his utube channel… im going to take a road trip down next august to help him kill some :slight_smile:

I think the thermal cams are about $5000 ? if I am not mistaken

the UAV are quite a range depending on things ? $1000-$8000 without cameras depending on options
I know my next big project is to get into the UAV photography thing :slight_smile:
