But I think the OP is looking for a non hammer forged barrel.

Just curious as to why you prefer the non-BFH version (is it reliability-based, or something else)? The BFH is about $90 more than the non-BFH version, for what it is worth.

I just ordered this.
I am thinking about just getting the HFB but i don’t know if it is work the 90 dollars. i have been reading a lot about HFB but still can’t make up my mind.

If both hammer-forged and non-hammer-forged were in stock I’d pick the less expensive of the two.
If only one were available and there was no hard ETA on the other, I’d buy the one that is in stock.
I was just about to buy one of the CHF but now G and R sold out of BCM BCGs.
Eh, pick up the upper now, and snag a BCG when you can.
Buy what you can when you can. You clould also buy another quality BCG I would look at LMT, DD and Colt. I have BCM, LMT and Colt myself.
Worth the premium IMHO, and I’m sorely tempted to stock up on 2-3

You could also save some money on the BCG buy buying the Colt bolt separate and then the bolt carrier from BCM. That would give you around 20.00 savings over the complete Colt BCG.
Grant has carriers for $42.
I bought one about 6 months back.
We have them as an option if you buy an upper (as we always keep some spare for uppers). 
Knowing what I know about HF barrels (especially where BCM gets them from), I would ONLY buy a HF barrel.

I know the merits of HF vs. standard have been hashed out a number of times here, but can anyone point me to a link or thread that discusses any differences in observed accuracy? I spoke with the guys at BravoCo-USA a few months back at the time I was deciding on what barrel to get and I ended up getting a regular barrel after that discussion (that upper was intended for a slow, deliberate fire semi-auto only rifle). I’m probbaly going to order another upper this summer and I might snag one of the lightweight HF uppers just to do a side-by-side comparison, but I just thought I’d ask here to see if anyone has already done one.
