    shooting clays with a Saiga-12

Was invited to do some shooting on a friend's family farm over Labor Day. Did some work on paper and steel with various rifles, pistols, and my 9mm subgun, and ended the day shooting clay birds with our shotguns. It was a motley assortment - me with my Saiga-12 house gun, the property owner with his Belgian Browning Light 12, and my friend and his friends with their Benelli Novas and single-shot .410s.

This was the first time I'd ever shot aerial targets of any sort, with ANY kind of shotgun. I was pleased at being able to hit a good percentage, although the Saiga swings like a dumptruck.

    "No sporting purpose," my ass!

Looks like a great time. Thanks for the pics and I bet that Saiga does swing like a dump truck!

Pretty much current, except the CAA SVG has been replaced with a TAPCO stubby.

It's always a favorite when I go to the range with my friends:

NO challenge in straight aways! If you really want to know how it swings and where it shoots try some crossers.

I'm pretty sure you will not be seeing those on a skeet field soon.

Bet it is awsome on steel plates. Look like FUN

We did. I did not like them, Sam I Am.

Another friend is taking me to shoot skeet tomorrow. I will be renting a gun that's a little more "purpose built" for that particular game.

That thing is awesome looking. I love my Nova, not sure if I could get used to shooting skeet with a Saiga though.
